What are you passionate about? (Tell us about a special talent/skill that you have or a cause you are active in.)
I love photography and modeling. I just love being in front and behind the camera. I am a very artistic person and with modeling its another way to be artistic. Photography is something I fell into but have grown to love and can not see my life with it.
How has clear skin helped you to achieve your goals?
Clear skin has gave me the confidence to pursue modeling. It has made me more outgoing to try new things the influence my photography. Seriously, I was an introverted book worm but with the books and now I can go out and be myself without worrying what's on my face.
What artist/song would your friends be most surprised to find on your mp3 player?
I am such a random person and my friends know that. I love everything from pop to punk to classical to country and even japanese rock (which is really good!) I just love music. So people that know me wouldn't be surprised to hear anything on my IPOD.
What is your favorite purchase made in the last 6 months?
Well its more of an adoption. My beagle, London, is one of the best things in my life. He acts just like me, just easy going and fun.
If you were handed $5,000, how would you spend it?
I really have everything that I would want. I'm happy, have a great relationship and I'm healthy. I would save the $5000 for school. Even though I would like to model forever I can't so I school we be the best thing.
If a story about you was featured on the evening news, what would the headline be?
Local man accomplished what was thought to be impossible.
What is your must-do adventure of a lifetime?
I lifetime goal is to travel the world and host my own environmental show. I thought it would exciting to go to South America and follow the police officers that fight against tree poachers. It would be a side of the fight Americans don't see, all most see this the "donate a dollar" signs in grocery stores. I want to be out there with my show to make these issues more visible.
If you were a superhero, what would be your name and super power?
I love the water, even though I can't swim, but it would be cool to control water like the water-benders from Avatar. My super hero name would be Neptune because i like Neptune.
When you were 5, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I wanted to be a singer but I don't think I can carry a tune all that well.
Who do you most admire?
The person I most admire is my mother, she raised me being a single mother in the inner city. She did all she could to get me out of that area into a nicer one. She took on three jobs to keep my in a private school, but still had the time to take me fishing or play monopoly with me on Thursday nights. My mom was there for me when my father was not. She did all of this without complaining and I admire my mom for being that strong mother figure for me. Without her, no telling where my life would be right now.
What are you most proud of?
I am proud of getting into the Art Institute International-KC. I am the first in my family to pursue a degree and by doing this I hope to set a positive example to my little brothers, sisters and cousins. It's my dream to be a filmmaker and at this school I feel closer to reaching that dream. I just want my family to know that it takes hard work and determination to reach your goals in life and I am just proud that I am on the track to reach mine.
What's something you'd like to change about yourself and why?
I wish I would not procrastinate as much as I do. I always wait until crunch time to start something. I do like the pressure but there are so many chances procrastinating could blow up in your face. Another thing that I am trying to change about myself is that I want to be more outgoing. I grew being that quiet, overweight kid that had low self confidence. But just by talking to strangers and letting loose a little I do not feel so awkward around people.
What reality TV show would you like to be on and why?
I would love to go onto the show Amazing Race. I would love the chance to travel the world and experience new and different cultures while still competing. I would also love to be on Survivor because I would love the challenge of me vs. others vs. the elements. I think on shows like Survivor and Amazing Race a persons best qualities shine. If you're a good person going into the show, a good person will come out of the show.
