A mom!!! Still do!!!
Who do you most admire?
As a young woman, there are many people that I admire, respect and strive to be like daily. My father is the hardest worker I know, not to mention the coolest guy I know. His strength of character is astounding, and everyday I try to hold myself to the same standards he holds himself. My mother is an absolutely remarkable lady. She is the most creative person I know. She taught me how to add a touch of flare to anything, but more importantly how to add it in life. If I become half the person she is, I will consider myself very lucky. At the end of the day, when it comes down to it, the person whom I hold in the highest esteem is my grandmother. She is by far the most amazing person I know. Growing up as a ranchers daughter in Montana, she has been a hard workers all of her life. Her work as a nurse was full of love and care, two qualities that were ever present in her role as a wife and a mother of ten. Not only do I admire her for having ten kids, but I admire her for how she raised them on her own after the passing of her husband. Her strength, both physically and emotionally, is inconceivable. A stronger person I have never met.
What are you most proud of?
At the young age of 22 I feel that I have already accomplished many things that I should be proud of; serving as the youngest elected official for my hometown, my work establishing a community out reach program in area schools, my seat as president of our area schools Crime Stoppers, and even my morning radio show. Out of everything I have accomplished so far, I think that one of the most important things I have done would be touching the lives of my little first grade kiddos. While teaching first grade reading, I was able to work with children that did not have the reading skill required of them to move on in school. Working with them not only improved their lives, but also improved mine, by showing me the world through a child's eyes, and just how amazing it can be. One little girl in particular touched my heart beyond anything I could imagine. Sitting down with her for the first time it was very apparent that she needed help when it came to the development of her reading skills. At the end of the school year and after many long hard days, this little one tested out of the first grade at the top of her reading class. I am not sure if she will even remember me as she grows, but I am sure that I made as much of a difference in her life as she did mine.
What's something you'd like to change about yourself and why?
This one is easy I wouldn't change a thing. I am fully confident in who I am and what I can do. Ok well maybe I'd change the fact that I find it necessary to yell hey cow out the car window any time we drive by a field cows, it can kind of be embarrassing.
What reality TV show would you like to be on and why?
When it comes to reality TV shows, I would like to be able to say that they are all just a game and a form of entertainment, but I'll let you in on a little secret, I would love to be on The Amazing Race. More than just a game on TV this show gives you the opportunity to travel the world and partake in once in a lifetime opportunities. I would love to race across the globe with my dad. Not only would it be a blast to compete in challenges all around the world, but I know we would kick some serious butt.
